Reformation and extension of dilapidated Villa on Ibiza

Our client bought this property in a dilapidated state. Originally a single pre-cast concrete cylinder with scant accommodation left unfinished by its previous owner, and a maze of semi-subterranean voids, our client immediately saw the potential of this property with its outstanding elevated views across the Mediterranean to Formentera.

The tower style was a local style, so the original building was demolished and rebuilt using sturdier concrete construction techniques with integral steel framing for wall, floor and roof supports. The accommodation within the new tower was designed with large curved glazed areas to take full advantage of the sea views, and the new accommodation beyond this was then linked with a glass enclosed staircase to leisure rooms below, including an indoor cinema and, beyond these areas we planned new spacious bedroom suites, all with en-suite accommodation. With a refurbished infinity pool and stylish interior decoration by the new owners, this property is truly fabulous.
